Welcome to the first Mechanical and Energy Engineering Department in the Nation! Our vision for this department includes the creation of an outstanding, innovative and interdisciplinary program that emphasizes the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, modern applications pertaining to energy production, management and distribution, and life-long learning skills, within a research/project oriented environment. The Dallas-Forth Worth region is a prime area for employment of mechanical and energy engineers with demand in areas such as alternative energy, nanotechnology, and nuclear energy.

Electrical Engineering will be offering EENGR 2610, Circuit Analysis in the Summer 2010 session. Please check with the EE department for more information. Engineering Technology will be offering ENGR 2332, Mechanics of Materials in the Summer 2010 Session. Please check with the ETEC department for more information.
